Razorwest helps members identify and attract additional talent inside the organization.
We work hard to help employers retain and develop their existing talent, but sometimes it's necessary to reach outside the organization to add new talent. Our member organizations receive special program rate discounts to make it easier and more affordable to hire talent through Razorwest.
We aren't a staffing firm, and we don't charge the usual range of 20-30% of first year salary to help you fill an open position. Instead, we work with members from inside the organization to develop the hiring processes that make each additional new hire easier and less expensive. And, we cap our fees at a much lower percentage (based on hourly rate + fixed costs + markup).
Think of us as an extension of your existing team that works with you from the inside to get the job done.

NOTE: We offer flexible pay-as-you-go and temp-to-hire programs to help you manage your bottom line and we provide one-on-one sourcing and recruiting that matches your company with the right person to meet your specific business requirements.
We can also provide people to you on a fixed-contract or fixed-time basis and then, when you are ready, move them to permanent status inside your organization. Typical terms range from as little as 20 hours per month to as many as 160 per month on an ongoing basis.

We help you clearly identify your business requirements
At your request, we help you define the necessary qualifications, discuss specific position requirements, review and even develop a description, consult on compensation and interview processes - all prior to providing the right individual for your specific needs.
We identify and provide the right professional for your need
After we complete the needs analysis, our team identifies your most qualified available talent. It is at this step in the process that we will describe the opportunity and assess the individual's qualifications - and determine their level of interest.
We make sure there is a skills/abilities match
We make sure that the individual has the necessary knowledge, skills and experience for the position. We also make sure the position is well suited for that particular individuals talents and interests. Only after phone screening and interviewing the individual will we present a candidate. We will coordinate all introductions.
We provide permanence should you want that option
If you decide that you want the individual your permanent team (and assuming they want the same), we can assist you to negotiate an acceptable, competitive compensation agreement. We can also help you develop both verbal and written offers.
We provide you with a few hiring options
If you want, we can provide the individual to you on a fixed-contract, fixed-time, or temp-to-hire basis, and then when you are ready, we can move them to permanent status inside your organization. Typical fixed-contract, fixed-time terms range from as little as 20 hours per month to as many as 160 per month on an ongoing basis. In the beginning, we can help you facilitate a win-win buyout plan option if you think that might be necessary.
Fees, Guarantees and Buyout Options
Fees - We earn our fee only if we deliver candidates who get hired by our clients. The fee is typically an amount equal to a percentage of the candidate's base salary. The hiring member organization pays Razorwest, and the candidates never incur any costs associated with our search.
Guarantees - If employment is terminated within 90 days of starting, for any reason other than elimination of position, then we have one month to find a replacement. If no replacement can be found, then fees will be refunded on a pro-rata basis calculated as 1/90th of the fee multiplied by the number of days remaining in the guarantee period.
BuyOut Option - This option is in the event you want to bring the individual into your organization on a permanent basis after the above term comes to a close. Buyout fees are agreed upon at the beginning of, or during, our relationship and must be also agreed to by all parties involved.
After a buyout, we maintain our contact with you and we stay in regular contact with your new employee through any extra guarantee period. This helps to serve our objective of creating a long-term, win-win situation for all parties involved.
NOTE: we absolutely DO NOT reach out with the intent of re-engaging or re-contracting your individual while they are under your employ.
