
It's easier than you think to add Discuss Comment System to your Joomla Website. It's one of the best ways to engage and connect visitors to your website. Below, you will find eight steps to this how-to guide.
Step #1
Download this file (see note) to your harddrive (http://joomlaworks.googlecode.com/files/plg_jw_disqus-v2.2_j1.5.zip)
NOTE*: Make sure to get the latest update zip.

Step #2
Upload the zip file into your Joomla admin system (go to Extensions, then Install, and then Upload Packet).
Step #3
Go into Plugin Directory and "enable" Disqus Comments plugin.
Step #4
Go to http://disqus.com/comments/register/ to set up your account.
Step #5
Once account is set up, go to "Overview" and go to "Comments", then "Settings" and then "Customize" the layout and appearance of your comment system to your liking.
Step #6
In "Settings" go to "General" and at the bottom you will see your basic settings. There you will see the name of your site. You will need this name (called "short name") to enter into the Disqus plugin (inside Joomla).
Step #7
Go back into your Disqus Comment plugin (inside extensions, then plugin manager) and a in the plugin parameters, enter the short name into the field provided.
Step #8
Highlight the pages you want to have comments showing and save.
