Consultant - Real Estate Consulting, Appraisals, Conservation Easements (USA)

With more than 30 years of real estate consulting and appraisal experience in the commercial, industrial and investment real estate sectors, Thor has worked with many of the industry's leading companies. Most recently, he has conducted numerous works and studies for private companies and public institutions related to the conservation easements and commercial appraisals.

Thor holds a BS from the University of Pittsburgh and is a member of the Appraisal Institute and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Virginia and Maryland, and Certified General Real Property Appraiser in Washington DC. He is a Real Estate Broker in VA, MD, and DC, and a Realtor affiliated with both the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors and the Greater Capitol Association of Realtors. He has also served as expert witness with the Fairfax District Court, Loudoun Circuit Court, and the US Bankruptcy Court.

Prior to serving for over 20 years as Principal of his own successful consulting firm, Thor was Vice President of the Real Estate Advisory and Appraisal Group at Merrill Lynch where he was responsible for mortgage portfolio evaluation and analysis, as well as commercial property appraisal and analysis.
